River is publishing the Secondary Market Compensation Plan to address losses incurred by users who actively traded River Pts on the secondary market.
This plan is based strictly on verifiable on-chain data and submitted user records. It is designed to compensate real trading losses.
Users who completed the official compensation form by February 28, 2026 and met the eligibility criteria outlined below are included in this compensation process.

Eligibility
Two conditions are required:
- The address submitted the official compensation form by February 28, 2026
- The address has verifiable River Pts secondary market trading activity during the calculation period
Addresses that meet both conditions are included in the compensation distribution.
Distribution Schedule
All compensation is distributed as Staked RIVER in a single distribution.
From the day of distribution, your RIVER begins earning staking rewards and carries governance weight immediately.
Your total compensation is claimable in four parts
Throughout this period, your Staked RIVER continues to earn River Pts rewards weekly and contributes to your governance participation. Once the allocation is finalized, distribution is automatic.
How the Calculation Works
All River Pts secondary market transactions within a fixed time window were reviewed.
Calculation period: September 22 – November 9, 6:00 PM UTC+8
Only transactions within this window are counted.
For each eligible address, two values were calculated:
- Total cost spent buying River Pts on the secondary market
- Total value received from selling River Pts on the secondary market
The difference is the net trading cost for that address. Your net trading cost determines your share of the compensation pool.
Addresses with higher net trading costs receive a larger share of the 20,000 Staked RIVER pool.
Example
If the total net trading cost across all eligible addresses is 1,000,000 units and one address accounts for 10,000 units, that address represents 1% of the total.
It receives 1% of the pool — 200 RIVER, distributed as Staked RIVER across the quarterly schedule.

Once distributed, visit https://app.river.inc/river
On this page you can view your Staked RIVER balance, your quarterly milestones, and the ongoing River Pts staking rewards you are earning.
While your RIVER remains staked, it continues to earn River Pts through staking APR, and rewards can be claimed weekly.
