How It Works
Three voting rounds. Stake RIVER to vote for the teams you think will advance and the champion you back.
Each round closes before the matches that decide it. Vote for your team before the deadline, and the final results post after each round.

Rewards
Each round pool is 150K River Pts. The three rounds run independently for a total of 450K River Pts.
Voting power = staked RIVER × multiplier
The multiplier rises with the staking epoch, 1x (3 months) - 24x (24 months)
- Place your voting power on one team or spread it across several teams
- When a team you vote for reaches the round target, your voting power on it shares the round pool
- River Pts rewards add to S5 leaderboard, credited to your voting address
Examples
Voting power comes from how much RIVER you stake and how long you stake it. Stake 100 RIVER for 24 months and the 24x multiplier gives you 2,400 voting power.
The round pool is 150,000 River Pts, split evenly across the 32 teams that advance, so each advancing team carries a fixed pool of 150,000 / 32 = 4,687.5 River Pts.
Your share of a team is that team's pool times your voting power over the total voting power on that team. Only teams that advance get rewards.
So the lever is not how much you cast, it is how crowded the team you back is. The same 2,400 takes a bigger slice of a lighter team.

Your share is the team pool times your votes over that team's total, so 4,687.5 × (2,400 / 10,000) = 1,125 and 4,687.5 × (2,400 / 3,000) = 3,750.
Votes on a team that goes out get no rewards, no matter how much you vote.
How to Participate
To vote, you need voting power, which comes from staking RIVER. If you do not hold any yet, here is how to get it
- Go to app.river.inc/river
- Click "Stake"
- Enter the amount of RIVER to stake
- Choose a staking epoch of 3 - 24 months (longer epochs earn a higher multiplier)
- Approve → Confirm
- Check staking history
Keep in mind that voting power is read from the last Saturday's snapshot, so a new stake is not active right away. It takes effect from the next Saturday snapshot.
